Throughout the year Luna International hosts events & functions.

Our main “party” events take place on the first Saturday of every August, when the school joins the annual Bon Bon Festival in the city centre, and our very popular in-house Christmas party towards the end of the school year. Pre-registration for both events required.

Other annual events include:
• Open Week, when parents are invited to observe their children’s classes. We actively encourage parents to take full advantage of this week, as only by seeing classes in action can they really understand what kind of teaching their children are benefiting from. They get to see how the kids interact & just how textbook material, homework etc is manipulated.
• Young Learners exams, usually the first weekend in December
• Spring Picnic/BBQ – casual social event in a local park (Agata-no-Mori, Alps park, Keishibouzu) which is always very popular & well-attended.

Occasional events also include bowling or karaoke evenings. Major sporting events also shown in the school on our big screen – football & rugby mostly, and the occasional cultural movie screening.
